Speaker Mark Hamill
Mark is a marketing and communications expert who straddles both disciplines with a laser focus on the nuances of who, what and why. He has a passion for strategic storytelling and drives results by articulating organizational purpose in new, unique and impactful ways.
Over more than 25 years at RBC, Mark has held numerous marketing and communications roles and helped many senior leaders shape their personal brands.
As the Director of Regional Marketing, Mark brings RBC’s brand and sustainability commitments to life in communities across Canada by creating strategies, programs and processes that activate and amplify local partnerships and localize national properties, sponsorships and storylines. He’s led the development and delivery of marketing plans to support RBC’s Inclusion strategy and branch network transformation, including community-based newcomer advisor teams and unique branches at university campuses, hospitals and premium malls.
Prior to working at RBC, Mark launched his marketing and communications career as an advertising copywriter. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two sons.
